Seem like a nice alternative to the Profoto Deep M and L umbrellas, for less than half the price ! Is the shaft 7 or 8 mm ?

      Hi m4tik,

They do look nice. Umbrella shafts are 7mm.

Jinbei and Interfit also sell deep umbrellas for even less money than Profoto’s, Elinchrom’s, or Westcott’s.
Their manufacturing quality isn’t just on par with Profoto’s, they are nearly strictly identical (same parts, same silver fabric, etc.).
The Elinchroms are slightly different in terms of shape and fabrics, and have a different locking mechanism. And of course as already said a 7mm shaft.

Interesting shoot-through design. Basically turning it into a giant, diffused bulb. Could make for some amazingly soft light. I’d definitely pick one up just to try it out. Price is reasonable.

I recently took this Silver umbrella 41″ with diffuser, build quality is really impressive. I have been waiting for this product from Elinchrom as the Profoto Umbrellas are very expensive.

Looking forward to try this for portraits with Elinchrom Ranger RX Speed AS.

Has anyone reviewed the Impact Deep on B&H Photo. It’s half the price of these and looks just as good. Any thoughts on them? Link: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?atclk=Brand_Impact&sts=ma&N=4291405829&Ntt=deep%20silver%20umbrella
