Might be good to mention the AK-R1 in this context http://www.godox.com/EN/Products_Speedlite_Accessories_S_R1.html
Sorry should have been S-R1
Mentioned 🙂
So I see 🙂
Impressed by the price
I have the previous version of this kit and I kinda like the previous (smaller) dome diffuser better.
But this version has a better bounce card.
There is a flaw with the dome diffuser, at least with the one I have. The magnets pull out of the dome. I put scotch tape over the magnets to keep them in place. Is it just me or are other people having this problem?
Very interesting. I’m particularly interested in the half dome. I use Gary Fong’s Lightsphere Dome and think it’s fantastic. I don’t think the half-sphere shown here is quite in the same league as Gary Fong’s but I think it could be nice to use when using a big light modifier to help spread out some of the light from the flash. Excellent pricing too!
Keep up the great work guys!
The dome with the bounce card behind it works quite well. The new design of bounce card holder gives you lots of options.
What are the gel equivalents in CTO? 1/4, 1/2 and full? Mostly accurate? Anyone do any tests with a color meter? THX
Robert Hall said that there was a greenish cast when using them. I’ve never used them I’ve just cut some squares from Lee gel sheets and use the empty holder to keep it in place.
