Glow have released a full range of impressive new snap open Grand Box Pro Softboxes, including Square, Rectangular, Strip, Octo, and Parabolic Softboxes with optional indirect mounting Zoom-In Bounce Rod.
And the Grand Box Pro Softboxes are available now from Adorama from $192.
Since the release of the popular Glow EZ Lock Softboxes, people have also been asking for something of a more professional option, and the Grand Box Pro are well placed to fill that role.
Its now possible to build a full set of quality Glow softboxes with professional styling, consistent color output, design and operation.
And although not inexpensive, the Grand Box Pro Parabolics and indirect mount are now available at literally half the price of the exceptionally bling Glow Grand Parabox Pro.
The Grand Box Pro Softboxes feature an impressive snap open speedring design, somewhat similar to the Glow Grand Parabox Pro.
Where each rod is individually locked into place, or released via a cam lock style metal clamp.
A Bowens S-type speedring insert is supplied, though they are interchangeable with other 144mm diameter inserts.
And having their structural framework on the outside, means there is no obstruction in the center of the softbox to block and reduce light as can happen with more economical umbrella frame softboxes.
The external framework also means the softbox can be collapsed with the internal diffuser panels left in place, which can also be an advantage over the umbrella frame softboxes.
The Grand Box Pro Softboxes all feature a silver lined interior, with removable inner and outer diffuser fabric panels supplied.
Eggcrate grids will also be available very soon.

Is there anywhere to purchase any of the Glow products in Europe? Or is there a differently-branded equivalent, in the same way that Adorama re-brands Godox products? Or is the manufacture of the glow line truly exclusive to Adorama?
