The AD600B also provide the option of a lightweight remote head, making the strobe exceptionally versatile.

A soft case and shoulder strap then provide support for the strobe.

The remote heads will be available in both Bowens and Godox mounts, and in 600Ws and 1200Ws versions – AD-H600B / AD-H1200B, and AD-H600 / AD-H1200.

To achieve the 1200Ws output two strobes will be attached to the one 1200Ws head via a 2 into 1 adapter cable.

Godox AD-H600

The remote head is enabled via a cord which plugs into the strobe flash tube socket, acting as an extension cord between the strobe and remote flash tube.

The AD600B’s removable 11.1V / 8700mAh Lithium-ion battery provides a health 500 full power flashes from one charge.

      Hi Darwin,

That’s pretty rare with the AD600. Could it possibly be the flash tube? Do you have another there to try?

    • Ryan 2 weeks ago

Darwin, I’ve also been getting a misfire issue intermittently. Does it kick in and out? Mine works 90% of the time, and the rest it just doesn’t respond, no matter if I’m pressing the camera shutter release, pressing the Godox XT1-C ‘Test’ button, or going over to the AD600 and manually pressing the ‘Test’ button there… no response, no flash… then after about 10 or more presses.. boom, starts working again..

Is yours like that? or is yours not firing at all?

so i own two AD600 and i have change the battery and the tube from the one the works fine and those not fire at all, i have reset it a bunch of times but still same problem, i have try to update the fire ware and i cant get computer to recognize the device and i have already install the sofware to update but not luck there ether, i have watch almost every video out there on how to update the fire ware but the problem is the same the computer those not recognize the device. to be
honest i have not clue on what to do because i have been looking for a solution to this problem all over internet and not one since to know anything about it.

      Hi Darwin,
It’s good to know that you have a 2nd working AD600 unit that you can swap things over with to test out.

Are you having the firmware update issues on both units? or just the one that won’t fire?

The only trick I know with the AD600’s, to get them to be recognised by the computer for a firmware update… You have to remove the AD600 battery, then hold the On/Off switch for a few seconds for it to drain any remaining energy… Then attach the Micro-USB cable, and the computer/Godox software should then recognise the device..

If you’ve tried that, then you definitely need to contact Godox support, and also the retailer you bought it from asap..

    Hello,
I need your help about e9 error.
I upgarated my ad600bm with latest firmware 2.4. because I have got fuji cameras.
after the firmware upgrade I have got E9 msg and now flash is not working.
I tried several times upgrade again. upgrade procedure is going on way.
    but it gives E9 error.
How can I reset it or what can I do?

    • Fatih 16 hours ago

I just now noticed that, latest version is 1.7

      • John Wilson 10 hours ago

If you updated the firmware to 2.4 you loaded the wrong version (the TTL version). You need to load the 1.7 version for the HSS only model.
