PROFOTO Air Remote TTL-F – For FUJI Announced

Profoto have announced a direct collaboration with Fujifilm, with the first step being the release of the Air Remote TTL-F transmitter, which will provide TTL and HSS with Fuji cameras, and Profoto’s B1XB2D2, and Pro-10 flashes.

This is the third camera platform (after SonyOlympus) which Profoto have now collaborated with directly, to provide optimized compatibility between camera and Profoto flashes.

And therefore significantly avoiding messy reverse engineering as other third parties need to do.

Profoto now providing TTL and HSS support for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, and Fujifilm platforms.

There are also strong rumors circulating that Profoto will announce a completely new product next week.

Likely to complement the B1X, and B2 cordless TTL strobes, and possibly provide something of a game changer for wedding and event photographers?

We should soon see.

The Profoto Air Remote TTL-F for Fuji will be available by the end of 2017.

(Current Air Remote TTL prices – $419).

Thanks Toby, you’re right about Sony, sorry I didn’t realize that before.

And now I’m seriously thinking about switching my Nikon D810 kit out for a Fuji XT2 kit for my professional work. I already love my XT1 and take it everywhere I’m not using my lights (ie: anywhere I’m making money) now that Fuji have compatibility with Profoto coming… I’m very tempted to sell the Nikons off and get lightweight with my cameras!
